Questions
What can you import?+
Most legal goods: machinery, spare parts, electronics, building materials, garments, packaging and more. Some items need permits, and some can't be imported at all; see the prohibited items list.
How long does it take?+
Air freight usually takes 7–12 days after the goods reach our warehouse; sea freight 25–40 days. Your quote gives an estimate for your order.
Is there a minimum order?+
No fixed minimum. For small orders we usually suggest air freight or consolidating with other goods to keep costs down.
Can you open an LC for me?+
Yes. If the supplier or the value needs an LC, we arrange it; the LC charge is shown in your quote.
What if customs charge more than quoted?+
Duty and VAT are estimates until customs assess them. If they're higher we show you the assessment before you pay the difference; if lower, we refund it.
Do I talk to the supplier?+
No need. eMars handles suppliers, freight and customs for you; you deal only with us, through your account and our helpline.
