Customs duty and VAT in a quote are estimates based on the product, its HS code and declared value. Bangladesh Customs makes the final assessment at the port.

If customs assess more

If the duty or VAT assessed is higher than quoted, we show you the customs assessment and the difference is payable before release. If it's lower, the difference is refunded.

HS codes

Give the HS code if you know it. A wrong code can change the duty and delay clearance; our team checks it before quoting.

Holds and inspections

Customs may inspect, hold or sample goods. Storage or demurrage caused by an inspection is passed on at cost.
