Rules for vendors
- Who can sell
- Registered businesses only: a current trade licence, e-TIN and the owner's or managing partner's NID. eMars checks every application and calls the business phone before approving.
- Payouts
- Payouts go only to a bank or bKash account in the business's or owner's name. A new payout account is checked before any money is sent to it.
- VAT
- Sellers with a BIN issue Mushak 6.3 VAT invoices through eMars. Sellers without one issue sales receipts.
- Genuine products
- List only products you can supply, with real photos and correct specifications.
- On platform
- Keep negotiations, orders and payments on eMars. Phone numbers, emails, links, social handles and addresses are hidden automatically in customer chats, offers and quotes, and refused in listings and store profiles.
- Contact alerts
- Every attempt to share contact details or move a customer off eMars is reported to our team. You may get a warning; repeated attempts suspend the store and its listings.
- eMars Choice
- Listings sold by eMars, and listings our team picks for quality, price and delivery, carry the eMars Choice badge and are shown first.
- Fulfilment
- Confirm orders quickly and ship on time. Frequent cancellations lower your rating.
- VAT
- Your BIN appears on the Mushak 6.3 invoice issued at dispatch.
